Rogue Star Consulting is a motion picture consulting company formed by two South African Rhodes Scholars, Ross Garland and Mompati Setlogelo. With backgrounds in economics, law, management, as well as literature and theatre, we are well placed to address the diverse concerns of a media industry that is in constant flux and that requires nimble strategic decision-making.

As partners in sister company Rogue Star Films, Ross and Mompati set up a consulting arm to address a perceived gap in the market for legal, financial and strategic advice and analysis, specifically in the film and television industry.

Rogue Star Distribution is a registered distributor of films in South Africa, registered with the Film and Publications Board. Rogue Star Distribution works with major and independent cinema exhibitors and dvd distributors to reach the theatrical, dvd retail and dvd rental markets. Rogue Star Distribution licenses television and airline rights directly to buyers, and represent films in the international marketplace where applicable.
